The Hong Kong Anti-Cancer Society is the longest-standing non-profit cancer-fighting organization in Hong Kong. For over 60 years, HKACS has committed to preventing, combating and treating cancer. Offering drug assistance, free in-patient care services, and comprehensive support, HKACS walks hand in hand with patients and caregivers on their journey to battle cancer. Residential Services: The Hong Kong Anti-Cancer Society Jockey Club Cancer Rehabilitation Centre provides a nursing home for cancer patients and chronic patients with rehabilitation, palliative care and respite care. The Centre offers medical consultations, physiotherapy, pharmacy services, Chinese medicine treatment and recreational activities. Community Support Services: The Jockey Club Cancer Survivorship care Project adopts a family-based and community outreach model, with social workers/nurses acting as case managers to provide one-to-one, whole-process and comprehensive services to cancer patients and their families living in the community.
