World Vision Hong Kong has launched our Local Programme in collaboration with professional organisations and partners focusing on “Nutrition and Health”, “Support for Special Education Needs (SEN)”, “Experiential Learning and Education Support”, as well as “Mental Wellness” for children and caretakers of grass-roots families, enhance their capacity and resilience. This year, we aim to raise awareness on the imbalanced nutrition of children among grass-roots families and emphasise the joint-effort among the grass-roots, professional and local partners, as well as corporate organisations in addressing the issue. We have also piloted nutrition support for children with SEN due to the growing demand. The theme of our booth is to showcase how World Vision Hong Kong supports children in need to achieve better nutrition and health, while enjoying a holistic development that encompasses physical health and mental well-being. With this, we aim to address SDG 1, which is eradicating extreme poverty for all people by 2030.
