Make-A-Wish Hong Kong always cares about the mental well-being of children with critical illnesses and their caregivers. Our hospital service beneficiaries include child patients, their family members, and healthcare professionals. Our team does not only reach out to child patients in the wards every week, with the support of Hong Kong Children’s Hospital (HKCH)’s Patient Resource Centre and Occupational Therapy department, we also organize programs that incorporate horticulture elements with interactive music and play to enrich the therapeutic journey of child patients of HKCH. Workshops were also conducted for caregivers at the HKCH, equipping participants with the skills in engaging and interacting with child patients through the activities.
