Exhibitor Detail:
The Boys' Brigade, Hong Kong has become a partner agency in the government's "Revitalising Historic Buildings Through Partnership Scheme." The "Fong Yuen Study Hall" project aims to breathe new life into the century-old school building, also named "Fong Yuen Study Hall," located in Ma Wan. The revitalized building is envisioned as an experiential learning center that fosters connections within the local community while nurturing the growth and development of youth and children.
The primary objective of this project is to offer a wide range of experiential educational activities designed specifically for teenagers and children. These activities are intended to promote their holistic development. In addition to educational activities, the center will play a crucial role in promoting the rich historical culture of Ma Wan, along with raising awareness about environmental conservation. This dual focus on education and preservation ensures that the center carries forward the legacy of the original Fong Yuen Study Hall while adapting to contemporary community needs.
Furthermore, the project serves as a vital platform for various stakeholders within the Ma Wan community to collaborate. By working together, they can actively participate in community-building efforts, share resources, and create a sense of shared responsibility for the local environment and culture.
Through the organization of various activities, participants will gain a deeper understanding and appreciation of their local heritage and natural surroundings. This engagement not only strengthens community ties but also fosters a collective commitment to sustainable development, ensuring that Ma Wan remains a vibrant and resilient community for future generations.
