Feeding Hong Kong will showcase its vision of " Food. Wanted, not wasted. Building a Sustainable Hong Kong" at the S+ Summit 2025, committed to addressing the dual challenges of food waste and food insecurity in Hong Kong. We firmly believe that quality surplus food should not be discarded in landfills but transformed into resources to support vulnerable communities. The booth will highlight how we collaborate with food producers, manufacturers, retailers, and distributors to collect edible, high-quality surplus food and redistribute it to our network of partner charities, who in turn, provide food to vulnerable communities in Hong Kong. We will also demonstrate how we raise public awareness of food waste and food safety through various educational and volunteer activities. As the sole accredited member of the Global Food Banking Network in Hong Kong, we are dedicated to creating and strengthening food banks and national food bank networks. We hope to establish closer partnerships with all sectors through this Expo, collectively promoting the effective utilization of food resources and building a sustainable future for Hong Kong, where everyone has food security.
