Generation Z and Generation a lost in the digital world The problem of children and adolescents in Hong Kong becoming addicted to the internet is becoming increasingly serious, and the ever-changing nature of internet culture often presents challenges for parents in their parenting roles. In fact, according to frontline work experience and empirical research, more than half of parent-child conflicts stem from children spending long periods of time using electronic devices. When faced with such conflicts over a prolonged period, it can lead to strained relationships and negatively impact mental health. The root cause of these issues is each other views internet culture from different stances. To address these pain points, the cyber youth support service worker believed that the interactive experiences and internet cultural tours designed by adolescents. It can also enhance parents and stakeholders' understanding of the internet culture of Generation Z and Generation a, and understand the needs of adolescents in the online world. The exhibition, themed " Explore internet culture," presents the concept of the project through display panels and interactive experience. The tour will lead by social workers and adolescents together, and introduce the hottest mobile game and social media to participants. It is hoped that participants will immerse themselves in the online world and get more insight on how and why this virtual world means to youngsters.
