The Deaf Cafeteria is a social enterprise restaurant under the Hong Kong Society for the Deaf, cooperated by both hearing-impaired and hearing individuals. We are dedicated to providing equal on-the-job training and employment opportunities for the hearing-impaired, helping them build confidence in a respectful and supportive environment. We believe that every hearing-impaired person has unique abilities and strengths to face various challenges. At The Deaf Cafeteria, we promote interaction between the hearing-impaired and the wider community through diverse activities, raising awareness and support for the hearing-impaired. We strive to create an inclusive environment with "barrier-free communication," allowing our staff to communicate in various ways and fostering a culture of "deaf-hearing integration." At our exhibition booth, our hearing-impaired and hearing colleagues will work together to showcase their achievements and interact with visitors. We welcome everyone to visit our booth, experience our services firsthand, learn more about The Deaf Cafeteria's story, and support our social mission.
