“SUPPORT+”, an initiative of the Department of Clinical Oncology, LKS Faculty of Medicine, HKU, aims to support cancer patients and their families in the local community. “SUPPORT+” provides public correct and up-to-date information on cancer management, palliative and hospice care. These information helps patients and families for self-care at home. Registered patients can record their symptoms and contact nurses through the “SUPPORT+” mobile app and website. HKU JCICC aims to provide symptom management and psychosocial support services to cancer patients/survivors and their caregivers. It includes evidence-based symptom screening, systematic assessment and continuous follow-up services such as survivorship and supportive Care Clinic service, individual consultation and workshops. JCICC also collaborates with healthcare professionals and community organizations to develop various community services for cancer patients and survivors.
