The Hongkong Bank Foundation has supported this project through the Community Chest of Hong Kong and was launched in October 2022. This three-year initiative is based on the evidence-based tool "Cares Star" from the UK. The program provides caregivers with assessments, action plans, emotional support, and referrals to community resources. We also actively train "Caregiver Support Navigators" and promotes " Carer Advance Directives" for caregivers. It assists immigrant caregivers in developing proactive and emergency caregiving plans and provides support to left behind elders.
