Beyond Vision International Limited (BVI) believes that access to visual information in the arts, culture, and education is a universal human right. The visually impaired (VI) can experience rich environments with the right tools. In 2016, BVI developed the Tactile-Audio Interaction System (TAIS), a multisensory platform that allows VIs to experience art and all possible aspects of daily life through synchronized touch and sound, enhancing clearer mental imagery. BVI’s key activities include: 1) Accessibility Consultation: Providing accessibility consultation to promote inclusion services and solutions in museums, art and heritage institutions, and other organizations. 2) Public Engagement and Education: Curating multisensory tours and workshops to enhance understanding and promote social inclusion. 3) Empowering Visually Impaired People: Training VIs to become tour guides and workshop coaches, fostering community engagement and job opportunities. BVI is committed to raising public awareness of accessibility and inclusivity, while also building a strong support network to enhance societal understanding and empathy of visually impaired individuals. We actively collaborate with corporates to develop employee engagement programs, including inclusivity awareness workshops, mentorship programs, and volunteer activities, to support corporates in fostering an inclusive culture.
