Exhibitor Detail:
The "LOVERS Low-Carbon Living" program aims to share the concept of low-carbon living with youth, women, seniors, and the community. Healthy eating helps prevent chronic diseases, and promoting a diet rich in vegetables and low in meat, combined with a low-carbon lifestyle, can reduce carbon emissions and protect the environment. The program is led by registered dietitians, who have designed the "Carbon-Conscious Eating" service to help participants promote low-carbon living in the community. This program collaborates with secondary schools, higher education institutions, ERB's “Smartliving”, District Health Centres, and community groups to encourage the practice of low-carbon living through a focus on environmental protection, healthy eating, and the prevention of chronic diseases. By recruiting youth as ambassadors to promote related activities in schools, training women in low-carbon cooking skills using newly designed low-carbon recipes to enhance "Home Meal" options, and helping seniors understand their health conditions and low-carbon lifestyles, the program aims to support the implementation of low-carbon eating practices.
