Partnership Fund for the Disadvantaged (PFD) aims at promoting tripartite partnership among the welfare sector, the business community and the Government to help the disadvantaged. The Dedicated Portion under the PFD has encouraged implementation of more after-school learning and support programmes for primary and secondary students from grassroots families. The Government will provide dollar-to-dollar matching grants to donations made by business corporations to support applicant organisations or schools implementing the social welfare projects.
