Mental health is closely intertwined with physical health, making holistic well-being increasingly vital as healthcare burdens continue to grow. Evangelical Lutheran Church Social Service – Hong Kong has recently embraced the concept of "Creative Aging," focusing on enhancing both physical and mental health through artistic activities. This initiative aims to foster a more inclusive and supportive environment where service users—regardless of age or physical condition—feel valued and respected, ultimately enhancing their mental health and overall well-being. Our booth will feature a diverse range of artworks, including painting, pottery, and photography. We have previously collaborated with several professional artists who worked alongside service users. This partnership not only helps them find ways to express themselves and release their emotions but also boosts their creativity and confidence, encourages social interaction, and reduces feelings of loneliness and social isolation. We invite everyone to explore the transformative power of art with us.
