Driving Sustainable Development and Management of Social Enterprises through ESG Principles
In May 2023, we launched the OIWA Tang Fuk Hing Memorial Educational Farm, an ESG-focused educational farm. The farm prioritizes sustainability by using eco-friendly materials for infrastructure and adopting natural farming methods (e.g., compost from food waste, biochar, and insect-based fertilizers). It educates the public on waste reduction at the source, upcycling materials, and lowering carbon emissions to practice green living.
Guided by the philosophy of "Learning through Farming" and "Cultivating the Future", the farm provides eco-agricultural training to society, particularly for minority groups, while fostering a circular economy platform. It offers sustainable development education and employment opportunities for individuals in need or with a passion for environmental stewardship.
