Wu Zhi Qiao (Bridge to China) Charitable Foundation
Exhibitor Detail:
Wu Zhi Qiao (Bridge to China) Charitable Foundation (WZQ) encourages youth from diverse disciplinary backgrounds in Hong Kong and the Mainland to voluntarily participate in rural revitalization, demonstrating strategic initiatives for deep cultivation while utilizing sustainable development concepts and low-carbon, environmentally friendly methods. Through this effort, we contribute to rural revitalization in the Mainland as well as countryside conservation in Hong Kong, including deep decarbonization. Our booth will showcase the outcomes and social impact of WZQ’s initiatives in line with the National Rural Revitalization Strategy, achieving the “Dual Carbon” goals of reaching peak emissions and carbon neutrality, as well as the Northern Metropolis Development Strategy in Hong Kong. We encourage youth participation in low-carbon rural revitalization projects in villages surrounding the Sha Tau Kok District of Hong Kong, including Yung Shue Au, Lai Chi Wo, Mui Tsz Lam, Kuk Po, Kat O, and Ap Chau, as well as in the Mainland, including Macha Village in Gansu, Qingyu Village in Shaanxi, Xiaowopu Village in Hebei, Yushan Island in Fujian, and Shaoguan in Guangdong. As one of the few charitable organizations in Hong Kong focused on the three major development strategies of “Rural Revitalization x Youth Development x Sustainability”, WZQ Youth Committee Members (WZQQ) and staff will present richer imaginations and possibilities under SDG 11 “Sustainable Cities and Communities” to industry professionals, the business sector, and the public.
