Hong Kong Children In Need Foundation
Exhibitor Detail:
Hong Kong Children In Need Foundation (HKCIN) empowers Hong Kong primary school students through innovative STEAM programs that address the UN SDG #3: Good Health and Well-being. Our initiatives focus on fostering creativity, individuality, and proactive life values while equipping students with autonomy, critical thinking and self-directed learning skills. Through themes such as health management, time management, and financial well-being, we promote balanced goal setting, physical health awareness, and sustainable habits, enabling students to lead healthier, more fulfilling lives. At the S+ Summit and Expo 2025, HKCIN will showcase two flagship programs for 2024-2025: “Smartizen the Future Decision-Maker”, sponsored by UBS, and “STEAMazing 2024-2025”, sponsored by Amazon Web Services (AWS). “Smartizen the Future Decision-Maker” is a year-long initiative designed to enhance students’ well-being and decision-making skills through a structured four-stage approach. Participants work with corporate skills-based volunteers to explore life values, prioritize physical health and well-being, and learn financial planning using interactive tools such as the "Money Bank Robot" and "CINcubation Card Game". The program culminates in a graduation ceremony celebrating the students’ achievements. “STEAMazing 2024-2025” focuses on sustainable energy and global stewardship, blending outdoor exploration, hands-on workshops, and competitions. With the support of AWS volunteers, students engage in renewable energy concepts, fostering innovation, critical thinking, and sustainability awareness to address global challenges. Since 2019, HKCIN has transformed the educational landscape for over 8,000 students across 25 schools, in partnership with global organizations such as UBS, AIA Foundation, AWS, and more. By inspiring students to set SMART goals, develop life skills, and explore personal interests, HKCIN prepares them to navigate an ever-evolving world. Our vision is to provide high-quality resources to those in need, empowering children to succeed with confidence, resilience, and joy while contributing meaningfully to their communities.
