Resource & Service Centre for the Relatives of Ex-mentally Ill People was established in 1994 and subsequently received regular funding from the Social Welfare Department. With a focus on caring for the physical and mental well-being of caregivers, the center provides early support services for caregivers of psychiatric patients/mental health recovery individuals. It assists in enhancing caregivers' understanding of mental illness, treatment, recovery, and community resources, as well as equipping them with caregiving skills and knowledge. Through the establishment of a caregiver support network, the center aims to reduce social isolation and encourages advocacy for the needs of caregivers in the wider society.
