Exhibitor Detail: The CARE College, established by Baptist Oi Kwan Social Service in 2019, aims to provide comprehensive support and training for caregivers. The project has received funding from the Community Chest since June 2020, and additional funding from The Hongkong Bank Foundation through The Community Chest starting from June 2023, extending the project to continue its services for an additional two years.
The primary goal of the CARE College is to offer training courses for caregivers, caregiver peers, service practitioners, and community members across seven different categories. Through collaboration and engagement with various sectors of society, the college actively connects with various sectors of society to promote awareness and advocate support for caregivers.
The upcoming exhibition will serve as a platform for caregiver practitioners. It will provide them with valuable information on caregiver support training courses, engaging experiences through caregiver board games, caregiver needs assessment, caregiver advance directives, access to “Living library”, and opportunities to participate in caregiver relaxation activities.
