Co-creation: Together, we create a happy Hong Kong “Hong Kong Family Wellbeing Index (HKFWI)" was pioneered a reliable and culturally relevant measurement tool for family wellbeing that aligns with the social and cultural background of Hong Kong. A comprehensive systematic assessment is conducted bi-yearly to study the status of local family wellbeing. HKFWI covers six domains, including Family Solidarity, Family Resources, Family Health, Social Connection, Social Resources, and Work-life Balance. This enables practitioners and policy makers to develop services and formulate family-friendly policies that promote family wellbeing. To implement the directions derived from the assessment results, the Society has established the "Family First Campaign" initiative to disseminate the advocacy message to the public through various events by employing “edutainment” approach.
