Exhibitor Detail: The Association Concerning Sexual Violence Against Women is dedicated to promoting gender equality, empowering survivors of sexual violence and providing anti-sexual violence education to the public and corporations. We also offer training on the prevention and handling of sexual harassment in the workplace.
Majority of sexual harassment cases (43.1%) occur in the workplace. Our booth will provide information on sexual violence and harassment, including definitions, examples, legal responsibilities of companies, and guidelines for responding to and handling complaints of sexual harassment. Recommendations from the "SH.E Sexual Harassment Awareness Advocacy Group" based on their personal experiences, will help companies in identifying blind spots in their sexual harassment policies and promote gender equality awareness.
We hope to increase awareness and understanding of sexual harassment and promote gender equality among corporates. In the long run, we aim to establish connections with corporates and explore opportunities for collaboration related to gender equality and the prevention of sexual harassment. This could include participating in Training on Prevention and Handling of Sexual Harassment in the Workplace, engaging in activities such as the Human Library with survivors sharing their stories, and supporting the Sexual Harassment Survivor Empowerment Program.
