Exhibitor Detail: The Chinese Rhenish Church Hong Kong Synod Social Service Department is operating 6 elderly service units, including elderly centers and residential homes, with more than 2,600 service users. More than half of the residents suffer from dementia. We provide different types of dementia training programs to the users and caregivers, including cognitive assessment, reminiscence therapy, sensory therapy, daily living training (ADL, IDAL), group activities, etc. In recent years, gerontology technology has been used in individual and group training to increase creativity and motivation of the elders, including TANO, COTRAS-P, OMI, etc. In the neighborhood level, our elderly centres are providing professional assessment, support service, training program as well as formulation of treatment plan to the caregivers on how to deal with demented elder.
