The Hong Kong Association of Gerontology has been engaged in various projects to improve elderly’s quality of life in Hong Kong. This time we will do an exhibition about 3 of our projects. They are: 1) “JCECC End-of-Life Care in Residential Care Homes”, which provides training for elderly homes staff to improve the quality of end-of-life care services, and provides end-of-life seminars for elderly and their families; 2) “Recognition of Prior Learning Mechanism in Elderly Care Service”, which certifies the relevant knowledge and experience of elderly care practitioners, helping them to establish study paths and develop their careers; and 3) “JC Age-Friendly Housing Estate Project”, which helps property management companies improve their housing estates in order to meet the needs of elderly residents.
