Jockey Club Kinship Support Project (JCKSP) is funded by the Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust and launched by Aberdeen Kai-fong Welfare Association Social Service LinkAges Lam Ki Yip Centre since 2019. The three-year pilot project ended in June 2022 and the second phase of service started in July 2022 with the continuous donation from the Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust. The project serves three-generation families with grandparents providing child care for children aged 0-12. It aims to strengthen the community support networks for three-generation family and encourage their self-help and mutual help capability so as to alleviate stress of grandparents in raising grandchildren, enhance the wellbeing of grandparents, parents and children, and to maintain the function for their families and the larger society.
