私隱政策聲明

香港社會服務聯會（下稱「社聯」及「我們」）非常重視個人私隱。此聲明解釋社聯的政策及實務，以及適用於資料收集和使用，包括但不限於閣下瀏覽和使用splus.hkcss.org.hk（「本網站」）。

就香港之現行個人資料保護法律而言，社聯為收集、持有、處理或使用閣下個人資料的資料操控者及/或資料使用者。本聲明亦是本網站使用條款的一部分。

社聯尊重閣下的私隱並且承諾：

  • 實行電腦、實地及程序上的保護措施，以保障社聯所收集個人資料的安全性及機密性；
  • 將所收集的個人資料局限在能夠提供閣下要求的服務所需的最低範圍；
  • 只准許經適當培訓、授權的僱員接觸個人資料；
  • 不會向外界第三方披露閣下的個人資料，但如屬經閣下同意、社聯在法律上被規定或社聯之前已通知閣下的披露則除外。

  1. 收集資料

    為了向閣下提供更佳服務，社聯可能在提供服務或產品的過程中及在相關情況下收集和處理以下有關閣下的資料：

    • 在閣下向社聯辦理登記手續、使用社聯的服務、出席社聯的活動或與社聯通訊時的資料(例如閣下姓名、閣下公司名稱、公司地址、電話號碼、手提電話號碼、傳真號碼、電郵地址、網址、業務性質及閣下公司產品／服務細節等)；
    • 與帳戶登錄工具有關的資料，即閣下的登錄帳號和密碼詳情；
    • 閣下發送給社聯的任何通信的內容，例如報告問題或提交關於本網站或其內容的查詢、關注或意見；和
    • (若閣下選擇回應或參與調查) 來自社聯不時在本網站進行的調查所收集作研究用途的資料。

    閣下所提供的個人資料，讓社聯能夠向閣下提供所要求的服務，及讓社聯履行社聯對閣下的合約責任（如有）（作為社聯合法權益之一）。如閣下未能提供該等資料，社聯可能無法提供閣下所要求的服務。

    社聯只在有必要的期間内為履行收集該等個人資料的目的(包括任何直接相關的目的) 保留個人資料。

  2. 使用資料

    社聯可使用資料作各項用途，包括：

    1. 處理申請
    2. 通過本網站提供服務和資料
    3. 向諮詢人士提供聯絡及業務資料
    4. 社聯的運作，例如納入社聯的資料庫、分析、研究及審計
    5. 遵守香港法律、法規或實務守則
    6. 法律程序，包括追討拖欠款項
    7. 與上述用途直接相關連的其他用途
    8. 預防或偵罪行，及保障社聯的活動及展覽會的安全
    9. 如社聯舉辦的活動需要核實閣下身份的時候，作確認身份用途。

    閣下的個人身份資料包括出生日期、國籍 (如果被本局收集的話) 只會用於以上(i) 項的用途。

  3. 披露

    社聯可能會根據法律規定或允許的方式提供閣下的個人資料，以遵守傳票、傳召出庭令或類似的法律程序或政府要求，或社聯真誠地相信披露是按法律規定或是必須以保障社聯的權利和財產，或其他人(包括但不限於香港境內或境外的顧問、執法機關、司法及監管機構)的權利、財產或安全。社聯亦可能會將閣下的個人資料轉移給通過兼併、收購、重組或其他方式取得社聯全部或部分資產或股份，或繼承社聯全部或部分業務的第三方。

    為了預防及偵測罪行，及保障社聯的活動及展覽會的安全，社聯可能會在香港的執法部門 (包括香港警務處、入境事務處、香港海關或其他類似部門) 作出合法要求後向其提供閣下的個人身份資料 (但不會向任何其他第三者提供該等資料，除非於以下列明) 。

    社聯亦可能會將閣下的護照/身份證號碼提供予與社聯所舉辦活動有關的工作人員、代理、核數師、承辦商及服務提供者、對社聯有保密責任的人士，及/或根據香港境內或境外適用法律，社聯須向其作出披露的人士。

  4. 保安

    以電子形式儲存的個人資料會受密碼保護。在社聯所保障的網頁範圍內會使用加密技術。社聯的電腦系統會存置在限制區內。社聯只准獲授權的僱員接觸個人資料。此等僱員已接受有關社聯私隱政策的培訓。

  5. 超文本連結

    為方便閣下，本網站可能會不時含有第三方營運的外部網站的連結。社聯無法控制亦不會對該些第三方網站或其內容負責。當閣下離開本網站，社聯不會對閣下提供給該些第三方網站的任何資料的保護和私隱負責。閣下應謹慎行事，並查看閣下瀏覽的網站的私隱聲明。

  7. 閣下的個人資料私隱權利

    閣下使用社聯服務、提交申請或瀏覽本網站，即表示閣下確認社聯按本聲明中所概述關於收集及使用閣下的個人資料的方式。如果閣下不同意社聯按本聲明或使用條款使用閣下的個人資料，請勿使用本網站。

    根據《個人資料(私隱)條例》，閣下有權：

    • 檢查社聯是否持有閣下的資料及查閱該等資料
    • 要求社聯更正不準確的資料
    • 查明社聯有關個人資料的政策及實務以及社聯所持有的個人資料的性質。

    若閣下來自歐盟成員國，除受某些局限及/或限制下，閣下有權依據歐盟的個人資料保護法律：

    • 要求取得和糾正，或刪除閣下的個人資料；
    • 限制或反對處理閣下的個人資料；和
    • 具有資料便攜性的權利。

    歐盟的個人亦有權就處理其個人資料向當地個人資料保護機構提出投訴。

HKCSS Privacy Policy Statement

The Hong Kong Council of Social Service (referred to as "HKCSS", "we", "us" and "our") takes individuals' privacy seriously. This Statement explains our policies and practices and applies to information collection and use including but not limited to while you are visiting and using splus.hkcss.org.hk (the "Site").

For the purposes of the relevant data protection laws in force in Hong Kong, HKCSS is a data controller and/or a data user which controls the collection, holding, processing or use of your personal data. This Statement is also part of our Terms of Use for the Site.

We respect your privacy and we promise:

  • to implement computer, physical and procedural safeguards to protect the security and confidentiality of the personal data we collect
  • to limit the personal data collected to the minimum required to provide services requested by you
  • to permit only our properly trained, authorized employees to access personal data
  • not to disclose your personal data to external parties unless you have agreed, we are required by law or we have previously informed you.

  1. Information collection

    In order to provide a better service to you, we may, in the course of and in relation to provision of our services or products, collect and process the following information about you:

    • information (such as, your name, your company name, address, telephone number, mobile phone number, fax number, email address, website, nature of business and product/service details etc. of your company) when you register with us, use our services, attend our functions, or communicate with us. In some circumstances, we may also collect personal identification data such as your passport or identity card number, date of birth and/or nationality for security and verification purposes;
    • in connection with an account sign-in facility, your log-in and password details;
    • the content of any communications you send to us, for example, to report a problem or to submit queries, concerns or comments regarding the Site or its content; and
    • information from surveys that we may, from time to time, run on the Site for research purposes, if you choose to respond to, or participate in, them.
    • The provision of personal data by you is necessary in order for us to provide you with the requested services and for us to perform our contractual obligations (if any) to you (as one of the legitimate interests of HKCSS). If you do not supply such data, we may be unable to provide the requested service.
    • We only retain personal data for so long as it is necessary for the fulfillment of the purpose (including any directly related purpose) for which the data is or is to be used.

  2. Use of information

    The purposes for which information may be used by us include:

    1. (a) processing applications
    2. (b) providing services and information offered through the Site
    3. (c) providing enquirers with contact and business information
    4. (d) our operations, e.g., incorporation into our database, analysis, research and auditing
    5. (e) complying with laws, regulations or codes of practice in Hong Kong
    6. (f) legal proceedings, including collecting overdue amounts
    7. (g) other purposes directly relating to the activities identified above
    8. (h) prevention or detection of crime, and protection of the security and safety of our events and trade fairs
    9. (i) verification of identity in events organised by us where it is necessary to verify your identity..

    Your personal identification data such as date of birth and nationality (if collected by us) will be used solely for the purpose in (i) above.

  3. Disclosure

    We may provide your personal data as required or permitted by law to comply with a summons, subpoena or similar legal process or government request, or when we believe in good faith that disclosure is legally required or otherwise necessary to protect our rights and property, or the rights, property or safety of others, including but not limited to advisers, law enforcement, judicial and regulatory authorities in or outside Hong Kong.

    To prevent and detect crimes and to protect the security and safety of our events and trade fairs, we may provide your personal identification data such as your full passport/identity card no., date of birth and nationality to the law enforcement authorities in Hong Kong including the Hong Kong Police Force, Immigration Department, Customs and Excise Department and other similar authorities upon their lawful request (but not to any other third party save as expressly specified below).

  4. Security

    Personal data stored electronically are password-protected. Encryption technology is used on our secured web areas. Our computer systems are placed in restricted areas. We only permit authorized employees to access personal data. These employees are trained on our privacy policies.

  5. Hyperlinks

    The Site may, from time to time, contain links to external sites operated by third parties for your convenience. We have no control of and are not responsible for these third party sites or the content thereof. Once you leave the Site, we cannot be responsible for the protection and privacy of any information which you provide to these third party sites. You should exercise caution and look at the privacy statement for the website you visit.

  6. Changes

    We may update this Statement as and when appropriate.

  7. Your data privacy rights

    By using our service, making an application or visiting our Site, you acknowledge the collection and use of your personal data by us as outlined in this Statement. If you do not agree with the use of your personal data as set out in this Statement, or the Terms of Use, please do not use this Site.

    Under the Hong Kong Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance, you have the right:

    • to check whether we hold personal data about you and to access such data
    • to require us to correct inaccurate data
    • to ascertain our policies and practices in relation to personal data and the kind of personal data held by us.
